Owner, Dessert Artist & Creative Director of Nashville Sweets

You can find Danielle in the shop coordinating style shoots with local vendors and creating and managing “all the things”. When she's not covered in sugar dust and fondant, Danielle and her husband Jason love to explore Tennessee's state parks with their three boys and two pups.

Our Journey

July 2011

Nashville Sweets founder Danielle Worley and then co-founder Brittany became fast friends while working together in the print, graphic design and marketing industry. With a passion for food, good hospitality, and creative challenges, they soon found themselves in the kitchen at night, baking and decorating cakes as a creative outlet for family and friends.

What was meant to be a hobby turned into a full-time passion. Danielle and Brittany left their corporate jobs to focus on Nashville Sweets, a boutique bakery serving up cakes and desserts that reflect the style and personalities of their clients.

Summer 2012

Despite being in their first year of business, Nashville Sweets booked their first celebrity client — Ringo Starr — which made them realize, maybe they were onto something big…

August 2013

Together, with a lot of passion and their bootstraps pulled high, they opened their first storefront in East Nashville during Tomato ArtFest weekend.

Nashville Sweets kicked off its inaugural Harry Potter week. The celebration of the boy who lived is a neighborhood favorite!

With Brittany’s blessing, Danielle took over the helm of Nashville Sweets.

The team celebrates a series of incredible milestones: over 1,200 weddings served, 300,000 cake pops dipped, 425,000 cupcakes iced and 250,000 pounds of sugar purchased (approximately).

Summer 2023

Stay tuned for exciting news this summer!
